MarketerFirst Donates Backpacks to Children of Micronesia
Chuuk, Micronesia — This past Christmas season, MarketerFirst partnered with BivWack Outdoors to spread joy across the Pacific by donating 100 BivWack Outdoors Getaway Packs to the children of Chuuk, Micronesia.
The backpacks were received by Terry and Jody Colson, missionaries with the Central Missionary Clearinghouse (CMC), a non-profit dedicated to promoting Christianity and its principles through evangelistic and missionary endeavors. CMC works globally to establish churches and schools, translate and distribute Bibles, produce Christian literature, and use all forms of media to share the message of Christianity.
The getaway packs, arriving just in time for Christmas — celebrated by many as the birthday of Jesus — gave the children a reason to celebrate in a personal and creative way. After receiving their backpacks, the children spent the day decorating them, turning each one into a unique expression of ownership and joy.
MarketerFirst and BivWack Outdoors’ contribution reflects a shared belief in community, generosity, and the power of giving. What might seem like a simple backpack becomes a vessel for both practical needs and personal pride for children who often go without.
“Seeing the children light up as they made the backpacks their own was the greatest gift of all,” said Terry Colson. “These packs are more than supplies — they are reminders that they are loved and supported by people far beyond their island.”
This initiative underscores MarketerFirst’s ongoing mission to align business growth with philanthropy, ensuring that its success is measured not only by markets but also by moments of impact in communities worldwide.
